Pecuri in i Vigne Cheese from Blakesville Creamery

North of Milwaukee, along the shores of Lake Michigan, Blakesville Creamery got their start in 2020 making beautiful cheese from goat's milk. Now, partnering with a nearby sheep farm, they’ve started crafting some wonderful sheep’s milk cheeses, too.

This delicate, feathery light, hand-ladled, soft sheep’s milk beauty is protected by a hand wrapping of muscat wine-soaked grape leaves that gives the soft curd a slightly sweet and slightly boozy character.

A cheese this pretty will be the star of any cheese plate and the focus of most of the conversation. Especially after people start nibbling.
