Sitting Shiva Gift

Sitting Shiva Gift

In sympathy.

Shiva is the week-long mourning period in Judaism for close family members. During this time, members of the community and extended family organize meals for the mourners and see to the needs of the visitors. It’s considered a ‘mitzvah’ (good deed) for visitors to bring or send food for the mourners.

If you can’t attend the shiva, let the family know they’re in your thoughts with this wooden crate filled with Apricot and Walnut/Currant Rugelach, Kosher Vanilla Butter Caramels, Zingerman's Peanut Brittle, a Chocolate and Raisin Babka, and two bags of Halvah: one Maple, one Cardamom Orange.

Need it there tomorrow and it's after 5 PM ET? Call us.

Baked goods and brittle are not Kosher.

There's been a small change we want to let you know about.

The recipe for Sitting Shiva Gift has changed:

We temporarily ran out of Maple Halvah and Vanilla Butter Caramels so we've included
Cardamom Orange Halvah and Palmiers.
