New Deli Crumb Cake

For flavor inspiration for this coffee cake, we took our cues from the Indian subcontinent and devised a recipe that's imbued with the exotic flavors and aromas of the region. The cake starts with organic flour and lots of sweet butter that gets a slightly spicy kick from the addition of cardamom, ginger, and clove. Finally it's topped with a butter crumble topping with pistachios and coconut. The result is a moist, sweet, exotic and warmly spicy coffee cake to make your mornings (or afternoons, or midnight snacks) more interesting.

The cake is our classic Nosher size (serves 5-7). It comes gift boxed either in our wooden cheese crate or our fun, cartoon cardboard gift box.

This handmade coffee cake's ingredients are organic wheat flour (organic wheat, malted barley), sugar, butter, sour cream, fresh eggs, muscovado sugar, pistachios, coconut, enriched wheat flour, coconut oil, Madagascar vanilla extract, cardamom, ginger, cloves, baking soda, and sea salt.
