Grocer's Daughter Dark Chocolate Honey Caramels

Alongside Lake Michigan, about 10 minutes south of the iconic Sleeping Bear Dunes, Grocer’s Daughter has been creating high quality chocolate confections for 20 years. Husband and wife DC and Jody Hayden and their team exclusively use sustainably grown and ethically traded chocolate from Ecuador.

Among all their delectable sweets, these caramels made with local star thistle honey and enrobed in rich, fruity dark chocolate are my favorite. The six piece assortment features two topped with Chardonnay-smoked sea salt, two infused with toasty espresso, and two flavored with spicy crushed and crystallized ginger. They’re the perfect size to stuff into stockings—or in your bag in case of chocolate emergencies.
