Italian Piedmontese hazelnuts are ground fine then mixed into a smooth chocolate cream that's known in Italy as gianduja. The texture is somewhere between mousse and fudge. Spread some on Chocolate Sourdough Bread toast for breakfast or top off ice cream with a spoonful. It’s amazing.
Our newest batch of this product has had a packaging change and a slight recipe change: the label now reads "Venchi Nocciole Dark" and the recipe has a higher percentage of cocoa powder.
