Why is it that sometimes I fall in love with a product on your website, only to find that it is unavailable? top
We understand that this is a disappointing inconvenience for you and we want to apologize for those times you find yourself in this situation. Unfortunately this is often unavoidable. It is one of the paradoxes we have had to embrace not just on our website but in all of our stores as well. We are committed to buying products that are artisanally made from small producers. In many cases, the demands we place on our producers completely wipe out their already limited supply! And while they appreciate the business, there isn't a way for them to just make more really fast. When it comes right down to it, the only way to completely prevent us from selling out of a product is to stock up on inferior, mass-produced items, and that is just not what we're about.
There will be times when we have a pretty good idea of when the next shipment of an out-of-stock item will be arriving at our doors. If we aren't sure when a product is coming in or if we know it won't be arriving for quite some time, we will temporarily remove it from the page so that we don't get your heart set on something we're out of.
What are my shipping options? top
We ship using UPS. With their 2-Day Service, we usually send packages Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, to arrive Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday, respectively.
All shipping prices are for the United States only.
When will the package arrive? top
You choose a preferred arrival date and we’ll let you know if we can get it there on that day. UPS doesn't deliver on Sundays and Holidays. Saturday delivery available to some zip codes.
After you choose—and before you pay—you can modify the arrival date until it fits the price and timeframe that works for you.

We can send food to all 50 states and even to Washington D.C. Beyond that, sorry, we can't ship Zingerman's internationally.
Warm Weather Care: top
When warm weather strikes each summer it wreaks havoc on perishable, melt-able food. It's necessary to include extra packaging with your shipment to ensure it arrives in great shape. (It's hot in UPS trucks and warehouses even if it isn't too warm at the recipient's address.)
To cover the insulation, ice packs and added weight, we charge $10 for 2-Day UPS packages (in addition to regular shipping charges). If you'd like to get it there overnight the price is $20. The charge is per address. Added bonus: the extra packaging is reusable on picnics and road trips.
In a really big hurry? top
Overnight delivery is available. The cost is $15 October – April, $25 May – September.

We wouldn't have it any other way. All Zingermans.com transactions take place on a secure server. Your information is encrypted before it is sent through the Internet. If you still don't feel comfortable sending your credit card over the Internet, no problem - just give us a call (888 636 8162) and we will be happy to fill your order over the phone.
