Intense, not too spicy walnut mustard from France.
This walnut mustard is the kind of sensual spread I like to use with just about anything savory. The walnuts and fresh mustard seed are ground and mixed together into a smooth spread and go great on toast, sliced chicken or a grilled gruyère sandwich. Good enough to be served with filet mignon, it also makes a great vinaigrette—mix a spoonful into vinegar with Flor de Sal and Tellicherry Peppercorns and whisk in some good French Mausanne-Les-Alpilles olive oil for next week's salads.
