Seigneurs de Baux Olive Oil
New! First time in America.
Jean Benoit, maker of Castelas olive oil, knows a lot about the olives he blends for his oil. He’s particularly fond of one type called Grossane. Legend has it the Grossane was brought to Provence by nobles of Les Baux returning from the Crusades. The olive is large, but its yield is very low; it takes over 20 pounds to
produce 1 liter of oil. Though he wasn’t planning on selling olive oil made exclusively with this olive in the States, we were able to coax a small amount from him. Olive oil affcianados take note, we're the only place in the country to carry it. Its flavor is soft, sensual and buttery with high notes of
grapefruit. A light touch of pepper in the end makes this oil great on plain potatoes, delicate greens, and really nice on moderate-to-delicately flavored fish. In general, keep its uses simple to enjoy it more. Very limited quantities.

Cinnful Cinnamon Roll Gift Box
Beyond the mall.
Almost anyone can make a cinnamon roll smell good while it’s baking, even among the cell phone kiosks at the mall. Unfortunately, most have little more than aroma to offer–you won't taste much beyond sugar and
cinnamon. The real challenge is to fashion a cinnamon roll that tastes as good as it smells; these fit the bill. Warm them up, break one open and put your nose up close—you’ll smell sweet butter Indonesian cinnamon, real vanilla. But the real treat is next. Take one bite. That’s all you’ll need to forget the litany of cinnamon roll disappointments life has dealt you. Our round, printed wooden gift box includes 10 cinnamon rolls baked
in a re-usable metal tin with
serving instructions.
