City Goat Cheese

City Goat Cheese from Zingerman’s Creamery

Zingerman’s Creamery makes this soft and creamy fresh goat cheese round from milk we source from small Michigan goat farmers. Each batch is hand-ladled, which contributes to the light, airy texture that falls apart and melts on your tongue. In terms of taste, the cheese had a fresh, clean taste, no bitterness, and a really lovely finish.

Idaho Snowberry Honey

The tiny pink flowers that cover a snowberry bush last only for a short time in the spring. The brief flowering season must concentrate the flowers’ aroma because opening a jar of snowberry honey is like walking into a summer garden in full bloom. This is unlike any honey we have on our shelves. The flavor, after the scent subsides, is buttery, toasty with subtle hints of spice that give way to rich, big butterscotch flavors. The honey is pale yellow and runs thick as syrup.

The bright, tangy, fluffy cheese gets a hit of caramel spice sweetness from the honey. Together, the flavor is sweet-tart and supremely creamy.
