Ever since Allen started the Zingerman’s Coffee Company, he’s had a special place in his heart for Ethiopian coffees.
This particular coffee is sweeter than most of the beans on our shelves. Compared to Ethiopian Sidamo, which has dark winey notes balanced by prickly citrus flavors, Ethiopian Aricha has flavors of ripe strawberry and blueberry syrup. There's still a tangy bit of citrus to balance the sweetness. Overall it's a complex, clean cup, with a featherly light mouthfeel.
Body: Medium and lively.
Tasting Notes: Sweet and bright with notes of berry and a clean, citrusy finish.
Facts: Roasted fresh by Zingerman’s Coffee Company. Shipped whole bean.
