Turkish oil made from traditional Turkish olives.

Along the southwestern coast of Turkey bordering the Aegean sea, Emine and Mark Colin produce extra virgin olive oil from Memecik olives exclusive to the historic Milas region. The olives are hand-harvested and pressed within eight hours. The variety is known for green olive and almond aromas, and the buttery, nutty flavor of the oil builds to a prickly peppery, piney finish.

On the smoother end of smooth and assertive oils, a drizzle adds complexity to hearty salads, roasted vegetables, and grilled fish. The sleek black bottle makes a lovely gift.
