8 Grain 3 Seed Bread

I love our 8 Grain 3 Seed Bread.... Why? Although there are so many grains and seeds (many of which are organic), it still seems like a sinful treat because the honey sweetens it. When I eat it, I feel like I've made a healthy choice. The crust is hearty, the interior is still pretty soft and chewy especially when you pop it in the toaster. I like to top with Koeze peanut butter. Sometimes I go wild and melt cheese on top!

In the spring of 2025, after the mill we'd been getting these grains from for many years closed, the recipe changed a smidge. Here's the review from Pattie, who has been eating and loving this bread for years:

Although the flavor is familiar, it's even more fantastic and approachable than before. (If you can even imagine that.) Milling the grain mix more finely has left it with a tender, mouth-pleasing crumb. The seeds are now more snappy and leave you with a hearty but not overly dense loaf. That hint of honey makes slices perfect for a variety of adventures from a savory turkey & swiss sandwich to a gently sweet breakfast toast with cream cheese and preserves or honey. I can't wait to schmear the toast with pimento cheese and gently spoon easy-scrambled eggs on top and dust with fresh cracked pepper!! Yup still my favorite bread.
