Across the country and certainly in our corner of Michigan, Zingerman’s is synonymous with full flavored, artisanally made food. Thousands of employees have worked at Zingerman’s Deli over the decades and they’ve all had a hand in building our reputation, but no single person has had a bigger impact on the flavor, quality and community impact than Chef Rodger Bowser.

Rodger possesses the type of talent you see in gifted teachers: the ability to demystify and present intimidating tasks (like making dinner for your family) as something manageable, understandable, and even fun. In this class, Rodger will share his expertise in regards to pasta. He'll explain what sauces go best with which shape of pasta, and he'll demonstrate how to turn four simple ingredients into a dish you’ll wanna brag about in your Instagram stories.

Rodger will guide us all through the entire process of making three different pasta dishes and leave us with the know how to make a fourth. He’ll teach us how to select the right ingredients to make sure pasta night is anything but routine. By the end of the event we’ll be ready for one of those cooking competition shows (or thereabouts).

Each home kit will include three different slow-dried pastas, three unique sauces, incredible tinned tuna from Spain, olives, extra virgin olive oil, and a half-pound wedge of pasta’s favorite cheese, Parmigiano Reggiano.

All you'll need are two details: the address where we can ship the food, and the email address where we can keep the recipient informed about what's to come as the event grows near.

Logistics
The class will start at 3 pm ET on Saturday, February 20th and last for about an hour.
We’ll ship the pastas, sauces, and other ingredients before the event.You'll receive them by Thursday, February 18. Try to not cook them all before the class!
The class will take place over Zoom. You'll need a device to connect to Zoom and a high speed internet connection to attend. We'll include instructions getting connected to Zoom in the box (and we’ll email the instructions, too).
The event is hosted by Zingerman’s.
