Spain's tasty almonds made smooth and spreadable

Marcona almonds are dense, meaty, sweet and about ten times more flavorful than the almonds we grow in the States. They're naturally sweeter than American almonds, and when you're not turning them into butter, the Spaniards kick up their flavor by skinning the almonds, lightly frying them in oil and then sprinkling with sea salt.

Since the almonds are naturally sweet, they don't use any sugar in making this nut butter. All they do is skin the nuts, roast them, mix 'em with a bit of salt and grind them into this spread. That's it. No fillers, no preservatives, no extra anything, just nuts and salt.
