We're not usually ones for mixes, but this one is so good I want to drink it straight from the jar.
Even if you don't enjoy cocktails or alcohol at all, you're going to find uses for this Bloody Mary mix because you can use it as a marinade, as an ingredient in other dishes or sauces or even as a medium for braising. (I've been using it as a marinade for flank steak to rave reviews.)
Made by American Spoon in Petosky, Michigan. They use all local ingredients (well, the Worcestershire sauce in the mix isn't local, but it's good) and they do a lot of the mixing and prepping by hand. The hand-grated horseradish, for instance, makes this mix sing. In short, this might be the most flavorful item you taste all summer. It's almost like drinking gazpacho—it's that thick and delicious.
