Many of the foods I love to discover and eat are something I could enjoy every day. Then there are those once-in-a-while foods that are special occasion stuff. Pine nut oil is one of the latter. You’re not going to reach for it every day, but when you do the experience and the cuisine it touches will be exceptional.
Pine nuts are crushed and heated ever so slightly to bring the oils and flavors to the foreground. Then they’re cold-pressed once and bottled. An elegant oil with toasty, nutty, slightly piney flavor and a rich texture.
The oil is made to order for us and we keep only a small amount on hand so quantities are extremely limited.
