With the Euro so high and the dollar in the sewer, we all have to be creative. For most of us a trip to Catalunya is out of the question. We’d have to take out a loan for dinner at Passadís del Pep, and, as we all know, dinner loans are not a high priority for banks these days. So enough griping. Here’s your ticket to Spain. Not literally—this chocolate bar is made in Chicago—but it’s about as close as I’ve come recently.

Milk chocolate, hickory smoked almonds, a bit of sea salt. Each bite is slightly salty, a little crunchy and ends, achingly, with a long, silky smooth finish as it melts its way across your tongue.
