In our yearlong search for the best American mints for our Roadhouse we happened upon the confectioners at Fralingers, who also make this great sweet.

Fralingers start with molasses saltwater taffy and find room to fold in two kinds of peanut butter in the center: one creamy, one chunky. The resulting marshmallow-sized sweet is loaded with peanut flavor.

Late in the afternoon, when morning's rush of productivity ebbs, you'll find yourself crackling open wrappers every few minutes. Shhh, or you'll have to share.
